Pilates For All is a highly personalized movement, coaching, and wellness studio located in Saint Louis Park, Just east of Highway 100, Off of Highway 7, not far from Yum Bakery and Lake Bde Maka Ska (formerly known as Lake Calhoun).
At Pilates For All, we want to look closely at each body and tailor a program that addresses your individual goals, while taking into consideration your strengths, challenges, and limitations. So often fitness and Pilates are taught at a level that most of us can’t and shouldn’t try to keep up with, or without your body in mind. We teach to the bodies that are in front of us, and want all of our students to feel successful on their wellness journey. Our goal is to encourage you and motivate you, while helping you overcome the obstacles and personal challenges that you face. Our mission is to improve your quality of life and help you transform what it means to age.
At Pilates for all we love working with clients who are motivated to live their best life possible. We believe that you only get one body and it needs to last an entire lifetime. We will help you set and reach goals to restore an overall feeling of health and wellness in a safe and nurturing way.
“Take care of your body, it is the only one you get!” –Annie Richman

Annie has been practicing Pilates since 1998, and was a United States Gymnastics Federation (USGF) gymnast for 10 years. Initially she began practicing Pilates to improve her posture. After injuring herself in 2004, Annie used Pilates to heal. It was then that Annie knew she had found her true passion and purpose.
Since she began teaching in 2006, Annie has helped countless others reach their fitness and wellness goals, build foundational strength, restore flexibility, restore head to toe joint function, restore posture, and overcome their aches, pains, and injuries. Annie has worked with a diverse clientele ranging from teens to seniors. She has worked with athletes who wish to improve their athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury as well as everyday men and women looking to stay well, active, and healthy. Annie has helped breast cancer survivors rehab after surgery, she has helped clients prepare for joint replacement surgery, and helped them rehab after their surgeries. She has helped clients overcome all types of aches, pains, injuries, and surgeries. Annie has also helped clients overcome migraine headaches, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulders, frozen hips, carpal tunnel, tendinitis, and so much more.
After many years of teaching and coaching, Annie realizes that she most loves working with clients who are motivated to live their best life possible. Clients who do not accept what we have been told about aging in America. Clients who believe they do have the power to create the life and wellness they desire.
Annie received her comprehensive instructor certification from Balanced Body University. Although she wasn’t required to do so, she chose to spend nearly three years preparing for this. Not only is she passionate about helping her students, she is extremely passionate about learning her craft. She has continued her education by taking countless classes and continuing education courses. Although Pilates was her first love, Annie now studies and integrates many other modalities, including but not limited to Active Isolated Stretch and Strength (AIS) and Posture Alignment Therapy. Annie teaches a highly unique blended method that you will not find anywhere else. She uses her knowledge of anatomy, her understanding of human beings, and years of experience to create programs that work.
In 2015 Annie suffered through a series debilitating and life altering injuries, that led to what felt like a completely broken nervous system. Annie was left feeling like nothing and no one could help her heal. Through this Annie realized she had to heal herself, and she created her own movement and lifestyle method. She took everything she already knew, everything she learned during her health crisis, and her newly created method, and overcame what seemed like the impossible. Annie never gave up on herself, and worked tirelessly to heal and regain her quality of life. She also now integrates her movement and lifestyle method into the work she does with clients, and just as it did so much for Annie, it does so much for her clients!
Annie cares deeply for all of her students, and believes in looking at people as a whole – a whole person and a whole life. She believes that no matter where you are on your wellness journey, it is never too late. Annie is a motivating, kind, caring, highly observant, and intuitive instructor and coach. Most importantly Annie is effective! It is Annie’s goal to change your life by changing your body. It is also her goal to help you create a life that is centered around wellness. It is her mission to improve your quality of life and help you transform what it means to age.
“To be strong and healthy is not something you wish for, and it is not just a given – it is something you must really work for. Never quit, never give up on yourself, and know that anything is possible”. –Annie Richman
